Maya has studied classical ballet and jazz dance since she was three and seven years old respectively. She is now studying advanced level for both dance styles. She received “Outstanding Reputation Award” in 2010 and 2014 from the PTA of Chiang Mai Ballet Academy. She received her “Youth of the Year Award” in 2010 from the Private Schools Association of Chiang Mai and “Outstanding Dance Student Award” from Ballet Jazz Association in 2015. She has won numerous awards from the Asia Pacific Dance Competition held in Singapore, The Philippines, and Bangkok. She won first place prize with her friends as a dance team from the Asean Dance Competition held in Chiang Mai in 2012. She has also received the Outstanding Student Award from the Chiang Mai Ballet Academy. Maya studied hip hop from various schools including Australian Teachers Of Dancing (ATOD) at the Chiang Mai Ballet Academy, streetdance from Dance Zone in Chiang Mai, and One Million Studio in Korea. She has joined various workshops with artists around the globe such as Kathryn Ren?e McCormick from the Hollywood film “Step up 4” or known as “Step Up Revolution”, with CJ Salvador, a back up dancer for Justin Bieber, a famous singer from the USA. Maya has been an art scholarship student from grade 6 till present at the Prem Tinsulanonda International School. She teaches ballet grade 1-3 and hip hop dance to young children classes at Chiang Mai Ballet Academy
