Wanasa received her Bachelor’s Degree in Library and Information Science from Rajabhat University in Chiang Mai. She has studied classical ballet with Mom Luang Preeyapun since she was five years old. She graduated in Ballet Advanced Level from The Royal Academy of Dance (RAD), the U.K. She received an Australian Teachers Of Dancing Teacher Certificate from Australia. She also observed teaching techniques in Hong Kong and from the Tanya Pearson Dance Academy in Sydney, Australia in 2001. She has been a ballet teacher at Chiang Mai Ballet Academy, Regina Coeli School, and has choreographed and performed in many of Chiang Mai Ballet Academy’s charity musical dance plays since 1993. She danced in “The Ugly Duckling”(2005), a co-operation dance project with the Dancers’ Company, Utah, U.S.A. She has been developing her teaching experience and skills in choreography for more than 20 years now. She received the Best Teacher Award from Private Schools Association in 2007, the Best Teacher Award from Ballet Jazz Association in February 2012, and the Best Teacher Award from The Parents Teachers Association of the Chiang Mai Ballet Academy in 2015.
