Teaching Staff

Mathuros is a ballet teacher at Chiang Mai Ballet Academy and at the Regina Coeli School. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Chiang Mai University. She has studied classical ballet with Mom Luang Preeyapun since she was five years old. She has graduated in Ballet Advanced level from The Royal Academy of Dance, UK and in jazz from the Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dancing,Australia. She has performed in many productions with Chiang Mai Ballet Academy. She choreographed and was the principal dancer for the Chiang Mai Ballet Academy’s Charity Musical Dance Play “Manohra Fantasy” and “The Sleeping Beauty” (2005). In addition, she was one of the four little swans in “The Ugly Duckling” (2005), a co-operation dance project with the Dancers’ Company, Utah, U.S.A. and as one of the big Swans in “Swan Lake Act 2” (2006). She has choreographed and performed at various Royal family festivities and performed in many live televised shows. She has been developing her experience in teaching young children and skills in choreography for more than 14 years now. In fact, she received the Outstanding Teacher of the Year award from the Private Schools Association of Chiang Mai in January 2012 and from Ballet Jazz Association in February 2012 and Chiang Mai Ballet Academy in December 2015. She has gained many valuable experiences from her study trips abroad.
